Job Summary

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
  • Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participates in hourly rounding, observing safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s), supervising other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience, certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
