Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at Chino Valley Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in providing indirect care in the department setting, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors and meet the communication needs of the department.
  • Transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system.
  • Verify that lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done.
  • Prepare and compile records in Med/ Surg/ Telemetry.
  • Order supplies for the unit and prepare and complete each patient's chart for necessary forms needed on a daily basis.
  • Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties as long as the activity does not distract from primary responsibility for dysrhythmia monitoring.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for all new hires, effective April.
  • Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.70 to $23.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
