This role involves a combination of travel and office work, primarily based out of our Frisco, TX location. Expect to travel extensively across the United States, with travel commitments reaching up to 75%.

As a Software Implementation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in onboarding new clients to our Veterinary Practice Management Software suite. Your responsibilities will include visiting veterinary clinics nationwide to ensure successful software integration. This encompasses change management, training, software configuration, and deployment. You will collaborate with the broader implementation team to address any challenges and ensure a smooth transition for our clients.

The primary software you will be implementing is ezyVet, our advanced cloud-based practice management solution. Additionally, you may work with other software products such as Vet Radar, Smart Flow, and Neo. Our software solutions are designed to enhance the efficiency of veterinary practices, improve client communication, and alleviate operational stress.

At IDEXX, we are committed to advancing the health and welfare of pets, people, and livestock globally. Our innovative software solutions streamline information flow within veterinary practices, providing essential data and insights at their fingertips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to lead the Go Live process, providing training and support throughout the transition. Remote support may also be required.
  • Maintain a travel schedule of approximately 75%, with the remaining time spent in the office.
  • Analyze and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, identifying new project opportunities and contributing innovative ideas.
  • Deliver training services efficiently, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Oversee the configuration of IDEXX practice management software, ensuring optimal results for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, fostering engagement and confidence in proposed solutions.
  • May supervise team members, coordinating daily tasks and providing mentorship.
  • Deliver professional training services that equip clients with the knowledge to successfully utilize IDEXX software.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and a focus on process improvement.
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
