Foreclosure Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Foreclosure Paralegal to join our team at ALAW. As a Foreclosure Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in the preparation and management of foreclosure cases.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Review and analyze foreclosure documents, contracts, and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, ensuring all necessary documents are properly filed and organized.
• Collaborate with attorneys to manage a high volume of foreclosure cases from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progression.
• Prepare and distribute legal correspondence, notices, and other communications as required.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, hearings, and trials by organizing evidence, exhibits, and other case materials.
• Maintain and update case management systems to track deadlines, court dates, and case developments.

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in the area of creditors' rights and foreclosure.
• Solid understanding of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources and platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.
• Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in a professional manner.
