Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Ophthalmologist to enhance our esteemed Ophthalmology department.

The chosen candidate will integrate into a specialized team comprising 6 Pediatric Ophthalmologists and 4 Optometrists, collectively managing a substantial volume of outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, NICU, and emergency room evaluations annually. Our offerings encompass a broad spectrum of vision care services for both pediatric and adult patients, ranging from standard eye examinations to the management of intricate ocular conditions. Additionally, our Vision Center operates from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology and is actively involved in pioneering research initiatives.

This role qualifies under the 501(c)(3) classification, making it eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
