About the Opportunity:
Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is actively seeking a dedicated Neurohospitalist to become part of a well-established team of neurologists delivering inpatient neurology services across two medical centers in the San Francisco East Bay area. The SEBMG Neurology Department ensures comprehensive 24/7 coverage for emergency and hospital inpatients, including a dedicated comprehensive stroke center. Coverage responsibilities will be shared with another full-time Neurohospitalist and various members of the Neurology Department, who will also engage in daily rounds and on-call duties.
SEBMG is a rapidly expanding multi-specialty medical group, where physicians and advanced practice clinicians collaborate across 10 care centers and 4 hospitals within the San Francisco East Bay region. The group is affiliated with Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, a non-profit healthcare organization that provides essential operational and administrative support.
Position Details:
- Work will be shift-based, encompassing both daytime and nighttime responsibilities.
- Accountable for all new consultations and follow-up appointments during shifts.
- A minimum of 16 shifts per month is expected, with variability from month to month. Opportunities for additional shifts are available if desired.
