Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and negotiate contracts for the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products, or services.
  • Evaluate contract compliance and advise on contractual rights and obligations.
  • Prepare bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms and participate in the determination of acceptable bids.
  • Ensure contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of purchases.
  • Assure that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
  • Generate, maintain, and audit a central contract-resource file.
  • Ensure that necessary procedural controls exist.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
