Overview

Duly Health and Care is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I-Outpatient to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures, collecting and processing specimens, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy on adult and pediatric patients using aseptic protocols and accurate patient identification.
  • Monitor collection supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Receive patients professionally and courteously, utilizing AIDET and positive patient experience tools.
  • Perform specimen centrifugation, processing, and preparation for reference lab transportation, storage, and retrieval.
  • Utilize computer skills to access patient/testing information and produce patient demographic sheets.
  • Maintain a clean patient and working environment.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
