Habilitation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Habilitation Specialist to join our team at Central New York Quest Incorporated. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide vital support in home and community settings, promoting success and independence among our participants.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with the Director of Programs to deliver a range of services, including teaching daily living skills, promoting independence, and preventing crisis situations. Your person-centered approach will be essential in developing meaningful relationships with our participants and understanding their unique needs.

• Deliver high-quality support services to our participants, focusing on teaching daily living skills and promoting independence.
• Collaborate with participants and their support teams to achieve goals and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to crisis situations using sound judgment and expertise.

This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with an estimated annual salary of $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience and location.

• Valid Driver's License and willingness to transport clients in own vehicle.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
