Job Title: Chemical Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Analyst to join our team at Industrial Inspection & Analysis in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing chemical compositional analyses of various materials using advanced instrumentation such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, SEM/EDS, and XRF.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare reagents and analyze samples according to published methods
• Work effectively in a team environment delivering test results on time
• Perform acid digestion of metals, ores, and slags to identify chemical composition
• Create beneficial customer relationships through accurate communication

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and communicate effectively

Working Conditions:
The majority of work will be performed in a lab setting with occasional onsite visits at client facilities. You must be able to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.

Benefits:
Industrial Inspection & Analysis offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, holidays, life insurance, and disability benefits.
