About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a key member of our home care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with medical care, including basic first aid, vital sign monitoring, and catheter and bowel care.
  • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning, as well as prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs.
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and oral hygiene.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records, as well as report significant changes in patient condition to the nursing supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with aide care and policies and procedures.
