Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in the State of South Dakota.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for all patient care staff.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment in the Emergency Department.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required within one year of employment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
