Overview

The primary objective of this role is to enhance the educational experience for both students and educators by providing essential support within the classroom environment. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating effective classroom management and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in fostering the educational and social growth of students under the supervision of the classroom instructor.
  • Support the execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students and track their progress.
  • Provide individualized assistance to students, both in and out of the classroom, to ensure their full engagement in all activities.
  • Collaborate with various professionals, including speech therapists, social workers, and occupational and physical therapists.
  • Support students facing emotional or behavioral challenges, aiding them in developing suitable social skills.
  • Maintain accurate service logs for student rosters in compliance with the relevant educational programs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by teachers and supervisors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field.

Certifications and Clearances
