  • Conducts venipunctures, heelsticks, and fingersticks to collect blood samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Ensures accurate patient identification and adheres to protocols for specimen collection.
  • Processes and receives specimens in accordance with laboratory standards for acceptability and rejection.
  • Inputs outpatient orders into the Laboratory Information System efficiently.
  • Collects chain of custody drug screenings for various employment-related scenarios following established protocols.
  • Provides assistance with frozen sections and performs clerical tasks as required.
  • Undertakes additional related duties as assigned.
