Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a RN Emergency FT Nights, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
- Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervises other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator or 1 year of acute care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree.
- Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- Certification in specialty area of practice.
