- Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess and provide care for patients with neurological conditions, including strokes, seizures, and other related diagnoses.
- Professional Accountability: Maintain responsibility for the quality of care provided to assigned patients.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Patient Rights: Uphold patient confidentiality and rights throughout the care process.
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of inpatient acute care experience in Neuro Surgery and Neuro.
- Preferred Skills: Willingness to occasionally take on Charge Nurse responsibilities.
- Patient Demographics: Focus on neuro-surgical patients.
- Shift: Night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours
- Weekend Duties: As required
- Call Requirements: None
- Floating: As needed within scope of practice
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
- Equipment: FIT test required on-site
- Electronic Medical Records: EPIC system
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
