We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Front Desk Clerk at Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, managing customer interactions, and providing administrative support to our staff.
Duties and Responsibilities- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process registrations, payments, and facility rentals accurately and efficiently.
- Update records, files, and databases as needed.
- Assist with special events, programs, and classes as required.
- Perform general office duties, including data entry, word processing, and photocopying.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
The Front Desk Clerk will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, staff, and other stakeholders on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of professionalism, even in challenging situations.
