Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine Faculty Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join our team at LewisGale Regional Health System. As a faculty physician, you will play a vital role in our established internal medicine residency program, providing exceptional patient care and teaching the next generation of physicians.

About the Role

This is a full-time GME faculty role that requires a strong passion for teaching and delivering high-quality patient care. You will work in our busy outpatient clinic, providing clinical care to patients while also contributing to the educational and administrative aspects of the program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic
  • Teach and mentor residents in our internal medicine residency program
  • Contribute to the administrative aspects of the program, including curriculum development and program evaluation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be board eligible/board certified in internal medicine, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a minimum of 1 year of practice experience. You will also need to be passionate about teaching and delivering high-quality patient care.
