We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rheumatology Clinic team. As an LPN at Norman Regional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient care under the guidance of the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.

Job Summary

The LPN will be responsible for assisting with patient monitoring, maintaining exam rooms, and training other staff while ensuring accurate documentation of nursing activities. Responsibilities
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, following established protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, tailoring them to individual needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Assist with patient procedures, providing emotional support and education as needed.
  • Document all nursing activities, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or an active Multistate LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training, which will be provided during orientation.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, preferably with patient care experience.
