Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support the delivery of speech and language services to students in a school district. This is a full-time position that involves working with young learners in elementary grades, offering a rewarding opportunity to support students' communication development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering speech and language services to students in PreK through 3rd grade.
- Implement therapy plans designed by the SLP, focusing on individual student needs.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure effective communication support for students.
- Provide therapy services onsite, working 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid SLPA license in Illinois.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong candidates new to the role are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are welcome, though not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
