Position Overview: At The Reserve at Lake Keowee, we are committed to maintaining our mission, values, and service expectations in every aspect of our operations. The role of the Sanitation Specialist is vital in ensuring that our housekeeping departments uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall ambiance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain exceptional cleaning standards across all facilities.
  2. Availability to work five days a week, from 6 AM to 4 PM, with potential evening shifts for events.
  3. Exhibit professionalism at all times during work hours.
  4. Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including restocking supplies, mopping, sweeping, glass cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and laundering linens and towels. Ensure all equipment is cleaned, disinfected, and stored properly at the end of each shift.
  5. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Heightened awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to clean all areas, including hard-to-reach spots.
  • Ability to walk, climb, or bend for extended periods.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in cleaning commercial or residential properties to the highest standards.
Work Environment: The work environment is friendly and professional, often fast-paced and energetic. Employees may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and cleaning chemicals.

Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Regular activities include stooping, crouching, climbing ladders, and navigating stairs.

Additional Requirements: Club experience is preferred, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience being advantageous. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance. Background check screening is required.
