Job Summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to fill a locum tenens position in a critical care setting. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Board certification in Critical Care or Intensive Care.
  • Experience working in a critical care setting, preferably in a hospital or ICU environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
