About the Job: We are seeking an entry-level team member to take responsibility for the maintenance of our grounds and service department. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing miscellaneous tasks around the yard, including maintenance and cleanup of equipment, buildings, and general areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and cleanup of equipment, buildings, and general areas
- Cleaning and pressure washing of cranes and heavy trucks
- Assisting in loading/unloading cranes and crane components
- Providing physical labor at construction sites and assisting other craft workers as directed
- Operating hand and power tools and various equipment and instruments
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR
- Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
- Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
