About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting mission-critical projects that have a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead design and development activities, ensuring that systems meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Test and analyze encryption devices, including HAIPE encryption devices, to ensure they meet the required security standards.
  • Analyze encryption devices for signs of Denial of Service (DoS) type attacks and other malicious activity.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring that systems are developed and implemented efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning, ensuring that systems are developed and implemented in accordance with the required standards and regulations.
  • Interact with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure that technical considerations are taken into account.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of encryption HAIPE devices.
  • Knowledge and experience in analysis and testing of encryption devices.
  • Knowledge and experience in DoS and other malicious attacks on encrypted devices/networks.
  • Knowledge of DoD network and system security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in a DoD IT environment.
  • Expert knowledge of DISA Technical Control guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • 19 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree.
  • 14 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 12 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • 10 years of experience with a Doctorate degree.
Clearance Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
