Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Clinician-Educator in Anesthesiology to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations.
  • Conduct research and scholarly activities in the field of Anesthesiology, with a focus on Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Provide clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and contribute to the development of educational programs.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • ABA certification with subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Pennsylvania licensure.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
