Soliant seeks a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic school-based team in Roxbury, MA.

Job Summary

This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide essential therapy services that help students with various physical challenges improve their mobility and overall function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Individualized Treatment Plans: Assist in designing and implementing treatment plans focused on enhancing students' physical abilities and mobility, under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Offer exercises, stretching, and other therapeutic activities to support students' physical development and well-being.
  • Monitor Progress and Document Results: Track students' progress during therapy sessions, providing feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist for plan adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the school environment, ensuring a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Educate Students and Staff: Provide education on safe practices and strategies to support physical development in classroom and school activities.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained, creating a safe and organized therapy setting.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree: Possess an associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Hold current Massachusetts state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience: Preferably, experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patient Commitment: Show a commitment to promoting students' health and well-being.
Estimated Salary Range:

$54,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
