As a Supply Chain Analyst: Cost Optimization Specialist, you will work closely with exceptional talent, building on our purpose to 'Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future' and contributing to critical work for the business.

You will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what's on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.

The Supply Chain Intern will collaborate closely with the Spices leadership team and gain exposure to business operations and project work to optimize and bring cost savings to the business through optimization of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve significant cost savings in the spices business by analyzing current-state processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess and analyze current-state processes, including tools used, data inputs, and outputs.
  • Understand material planning and re-ordering processes from key stakeholders, including procurement managers.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment sessions to present proposals for future-state cost savings.
  • Lead and participate in ad hoc projects for the Private label Spices team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and data protection are required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Salary: $20-$22 per hour, based on position responsibilities and geographic location in California or Illinois.
