About the Position
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the commercial division with current pricing frameworks while spearheading the creation of innovative pricing strategies and market entry plans.
- Formulate and enhance critical pricing models to assess product and portfolio profitability, engaging with extensive data sets and pricing hypotheses.
- Analyze the existing quote-to-cash workflow and pinpoint opportunities to expedite revenue generation.
- Track and evaluate market dynamics and data, including The Ladders' value proposition, unique selling points, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize and uphold internal pricing performance indicators to refine and advance pricing methodologies.
- Collaborate with product teams and executive leadership to establish differentiated pricing strategies that foster sales growth.
- Assess the organization's strengths and weaknesses concerning pricing and recommend areas for enhancement.
- Work in conjunction with finance team members on budgeting, forecasting, and compliance matters.
- Ensure that issues are identified, monitored, reported, and resolved promptly.
- Participate in special initiatives, communications, and overall organizational changes related to commercial pricing.
- Exhibit adaptability and a readiness to embrace change, swiftly adjusting to new circumstances and shifting priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as contract and legal teams to streamline the client contracting process.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Pricing Strategy.
- Detail-oriented with a strong capacity to produce high-accuracy work.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with a proven ability to independently drive projects to completion, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills utilizing statistical analysis or large data sets.
- A collaborative approach with a strong focus on understanding business challenges, fostering relationships, and achieving superior outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, thriving in change, and able to create clarity in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Builder mentality, quick to identify issues and eager to develop solutions from the ground up.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Apttus, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence and CPQ tools.
