Job Title: Adjunct Medical Laboratory Technician Faculty

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Medical Laboratory Technician Faculty to join our team at Motlow State Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in medical laboratory technology, providing high-quality instruction, and evaluating student learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in medical laboratory technology, including laboratory procedures, clinical laboratory science, and medical laboratory management.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure student learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and program development.
  • Stay current with developments in medical laboratory technology and incorporate best practices into teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university and Licensed Medical Laboratory Professional and 1-3 years clinical laboratory experience.
  • Master's degree in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master's degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.
  • Three years of Community College teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Three years of Community College teaching experience.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be required to teach on multiple campuses and travel as needed.

Salary:

$500-$700 per credit hour
