Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our housekeeping team at Le-Vel's luxurious modern suites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, including the storage and handling of cleaning supplies.
  • Transport cleaning supplies, guest room amenities, and linens to assigned guest rooms and position them securely.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards, including OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up, and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain, and floor.
  • Replace facial, toilet tissue, and bathroom amenities in the correct amount and location.
  • Update the status of rooms cleaned and turned down on the assignment sheet or in the system.
  • Return and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
  • Empty the vacuum bag and wipe the vacuum clean.
  • Ensure the security of any assigned guest room keys.
  • Report any damages or maintenance problems, as well as turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Manager.
  • Makes up cribs and rollaway beds and re-hang/refold clothes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize.
  • Understand guests' service needs.
  • Must be speedy and accurate.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
