Job Description

The Surgical Technician demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role, assisting during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies as needed; scrubbing and passing instruments during procedures; and being available for call on an assigned scheduled basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a surgical technician program, as required by state regulation or policy.
  • Surgical Technology Certification is preferred.
