**Job Title:** Healthcare Support Associate

**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating patient flow by notifying staff of patient arrivals, registering new patients, and updating existing patient demographics.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Greet and assist patients with registration and eligibility;
  • Check in/out patients using electronic medical records;
  • Scan medical records into the system;
  • Fax/mail out medical records and necessary forms according to HIPAA guidelines;
  • Submit and document forms and medical records in a timely manner;

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of one year in health education, patient navigation, and/or health clinic patient assistance field;
  • Insurance and medical experience preferred;
  • Knowledgeable of and maintains HIPAA standards of privacy and confidentiality;
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, complexity, and diversity of customers;

**Estimated Salary Range:** $14.50-$15.00/Hour. This estimate is based on the location and job requirements.
