">Key Responsibilities
  • Create and analyze digital mapping data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures on various data types
  • Perform spatial analyses and create information products from GIS and related software
  • Design and develop custom web applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder
  • Acquire and design field collection applications using ArcGIS Field Maps
  • Manage data and applications in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment
  • Supervise and direct technical oversight of tasks and responsibilities for GIS staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in GIS, geography, planning, computer science, engineering, geology, or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of experience with demonstrated GIS, business development, and supervisory responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Esri's desktop GIS mapping software, particularly ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Working understanding of programming languages
  • Experience implementing GIS solutions for asset management, land use planning projects, and water resources
