Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, including performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs. Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing of guest spaces and rooms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems
- Make repairs and replacements as needed, including furniture, doors, windows, and other hardware
- Ensure adherence to all relevant federal and local guidelines for safety and productivity, including OSHA and ADA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage of tools and equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct thorough apartment walkthroughs and maintenance checks to identify potential issues
- Document project information and updates, including photos and notes
- Travel to various buildings and cities as required to support maintenance and repair efforts
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of skilled trades, including HVAC, electrical, and carpentry
- Certifications in operations and maintenance, such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, are a plus
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
- Professional demeanor and strong ability to establish positive relationships with others
- Motivated to adopt new and emerging technologies, and comfortable using multiple mobile apps
- Knowledgeable with Google Suite
- Ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- A background in construction, hospitality, or operations is a plus
- Must have a flexible schedule and be open to working some weekends as business requires
