We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at WakeMed. As a key member of our Campus Police & Public Safety department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure the security and well-being of our community
  • Maintain visitor control and investigate any irregularities or incidents
  • Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements
  • 2 years of law enforcement experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in police science or a related field preferred
  • Certification by the NC Training and Standards Commission required within 12 months of hire; certification by the NC Training and Standards Commission within 1 year of hire preferred
Work Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6pm-6am
