Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and effectively manage resources to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on telecom industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, engineering, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on telecommunications or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecom projects from initiation to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including network infrastructure, i.e. FTTx, Long-Haul, B2B; wireless communications, and data services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
