Oaks Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our Oaks at Eagles Landing location in Stockbridge, Georgia.
About the Role:The Certified Medication Aide will provide hands-on supervision of caregiver staff, ensure quality resident care, and uphold the residence philosophy and resident well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Supervise caregiver staff during their shift and ensure provision of quality resident care
- Properly administer scheduled medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Oaks Senior Living policy
- Provide personalized care and services to residents, upholding Oaks Senior Living policies and procedures
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and ensure residents' rights to safe, prompt, and confidential treatment
- Minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare or service industry preferred
- Required to have a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and a Georgia Certified Medication Aide Certificate
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Friendly, caring disposition and desire to work with older adults
