Job Summary

Crestone Wellness, LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse/RN to join our team on a PRN basis. As a PRN LVN/RN, you will provide nursing services to patients under the supervision of our Director of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site medical observation, monitoring, and client service.
  • Assure thorough open communication with the pharmacy regarding medications and other medical needs for clients.
  • Work with clinical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure quality service for clients and maintain a high level of professionalism in all areas of Crestone Wellness.
  • Communicate with clinical, medical, and administrative staff regarding client disorders, issues, or concerns.
  • Adhere to all facility, State, and Federal policy and procedure concerning client confidentiality, rights, and anonymity.
  • Assure that appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior are maintained at all times with clients, families, referents, and other professionals.
  • Participate in staff meetings as needed.
  • Complete evaluations and reports.
  • Use clear communication with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Follow all policies and procedures of Crestone Wellness.
  • Provide services planned to restore clients to optimum social and health adjustment.
  • Assure safe employee practices at all times.
  • Perform the nursing assessment or delegation of the assessment at time of an admission into services, provide review to all documents in nursing prevue requiring a nurse manager review.
  • Provide client support services while in treatment.
  • Create a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment.
  • Communicate rights and expectations for behavior to clients in a consistent and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Able to navigate a computer and use basic software.
