Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will work with mothers during antepartum, labor, recovery, and postpartum periods. Your responsibilities will include monitoring mother and fetus vital signs, reporting any signs or symptoms of possible complications, and assisting the MD with delivery of the fetus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patients throughout labor, identifying complications and taking appropriate action.
  • Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
  • Perform basic IV and central line skills, as well as phlebotomy skills.
  • Administer pain medication and other medications as ordered.
  • Take and record patient vital signs and identify any problematic issues.
  • Read fetal monitors and identify any problems with the baby's heart rate.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year Labor and Delivery experience.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications.
