Job Requirements:
Le CYR Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science, or a related field such as chemistry or microbiology. National certification as a medical technologist (MT), clinical laboratory scientist (CLS), or medical laboratory scientist (MLS) is also required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities:
As a Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for examining and analyzing blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells. You will also relay test results to physicians, utilize microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab equipment, and cross-match blood for transfusion. Additionally, you will monitor patient outcomes, perform differential cell counts, and establish quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy of test results.
