This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients and be part of a dynamic group that encourages growth and development.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for rounding in neurotrauma ICU, joint commission comprehensive stroke center, and trained in all areas of neurocritical care including stroke, neurology, and trauma.
Opportunities to perform multiple types of procedures and work in a collegial team environment are available.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and patient care.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
