Allergy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Allergy & Immunology Advanced Practice Provider to join our partner's state-of-the-art practice in Syracuse, NY. About the Practice

Our practice promotes a healthy work-life balance and is expanding to include both dermatology and allergy, asthma, and immunology services. We're looking for team players who bring fresh ideas and a strong sense of initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions.
• Administer and manage immunotherapy and other relevant treatments.
• Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including allergists, immunologists, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice as we transition from a focus on dermatology to encompass allergy, asthma, and immunology.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
• Minimum of three years of experience in treating allergy patients.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.
