Nursing Assistant (NA) Job Description

At the Good Samaritan Society, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our team at our long-term care facility in Rapid City, SD. As an NA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

About the Position:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide basic health care needs, including obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
  • Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
