Lacamas Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional oral health care services to our patients. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting preventive dental care and educating patients on good oral hygiene practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments, including oral health screenings and charting.
  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth and beneath the gum line.
  • Administer local anesthesia and dental hygiene medications as prescribed by the dentist.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
  • Take digital dental X-rays and assist the dentist in various dental procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in using dental software for charting and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
