Job Title: Assisted Living LPN Supervisor

The Assisted Living LPN Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents. This position is responsible for overseeing the Medical staff, promoting a positive environment, and collaborating with leadership and other staff members to support the Mission and Values of South Carolina Baptist Ministries of Aging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee Medical Staff, including performance evaluation and development of care plans.
  • Participate in care plan meetings, develop and carry out residents' plans of care, and evaluate resident response to nursing interventions.
  • Care for residents using nursing judgment, following policy and procedures of the organization.
  • Monitor residents' overall mental and physical status for changes and report condition changes to appropriate physicians, family, and regulatory entities.
  • Complete quality care audits, ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and orderly, and adhere to procedures regarding hazardous chemicals and fire safety.
  • Provide direct resident care when needed, complete treatments, procedures, and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Document all pertinent information on interdisciplinary notes, document medications administered, treatments, and procedures performed on appropriate records, protecting privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to residents and employees.
  • Address questions, concerns, or complaints from residents, family members, and staff in a timely and caring manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations from DHEC, Fire and Safety, OSHA, Labor Laws, and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
  • Oversee and administer training for current Medical Techs and train new Medical Techs.
  • Be on call for nursing questions and management duties when the AL Administrator is not available.
