We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and clean floors using industrial equipment
• Dust and clean walls, windows, and ledges
• Empty waste baskets and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, basins, and urinals
• Perform periodic cleaning tasks, such as cleaning overhead vents and dusting high partitions

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Good listening and verbal communication skills

Our facilities are located in a small-to-large office environment. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform repetitive movements, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, or hear.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment, cleaning products, tools, and ladders, and trash. The ability to safely use equipment provided is also required.
