Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of cardiovascular non-invasive tests according to established protocols, ensuring efficient operation of the department.
- Recognize adequate vs inadequate data collection and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
- Identify abnormalities and life-threatening findings, reporting to physicians or nursing units as necessary.
- Respond to emergency situations, summoning appropriate help and taking necessary measures to ensure patient care.
- Adhere to isolation and infection control procedures, demonstrating knowledge of fire and safety protocols.
- Utilize computerized databases to generate reports and enter hospital charges in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison with physicians and their staff to expedite procedures and results.
- Perform other cross-trained modalities as necessary.
- Education/Training: Accredited Allied Health Program, registry eligible.
- Certifications: BLS/CPR.
- Work Experience: Previous clinical background required.
