Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team as a Mobile Veterinarian. As a key member of our team, you will provide end-of-life care to pets in the comfort of their own homes, utilizing your expertise in general practice, palliative care, and small animal companion care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer end-of-life veterinary care in the patient's home, providing a more relaxed and comfortable experience for both the pet and their family.
  • Be confident in general practice with palliative care, small animal companion care, and end-of-life care.
  • Utilize an excellent administrative support team and methods of efficient communication with clients.
  • Enjoy client interactions and client education.
  • Have the independence and confidence to provide a nose-to-tail exam in a home setting.
  • Have a positive, compassionate personality with all patients and their families.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of clinical experience in general practice, preventative care, or ER.
  • Working with small animals (Canine & Feline).
  • The ability to communicate well with clients and team members.
  • Passionate about providing high levels of care.
  • The confidence to complete a nose-to-tail exam in the patient's own environment and to compassionately guide the client in the best course of action for the patient.
  • To hold or have the ability to obtain a state veterinary board license, which must be in good standing.
