Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to lead our Vision Center team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Model and enforce customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are met within company guidelines and standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
  • Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products based on customer needs, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates and listening to concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
Requirements
  • Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience or 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
  • Supervising associates and leading a team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
