The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on the location and job requirements.

Job Description
As a Medical Scribe/Chiropractic Assistant, you will be responsible for operating electronic health records and performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our clinic. Your primary goal will be to increase the efficiency and productivity of our providers. Key responsibilities include:
  • Accompanying providers into patient examination rooms to transcribe histories and physical exams, and documenting accurately the provider's encounters with patients.
  • Accurately and thoroughly documenting medical visits and procedures as directed by providers.
  • Ensuring that all clinical data, lab results, and test interpretations are recorded accurately in the medical record.
  • Generating and submitting orders as directed by providers.
  • Completing records by entering and reviewing patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Verifying patient information by interviewing patients, reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of visit or treatment.
  • Maintaining and stocking exam rooms.
  • Answering and returning phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Cross-training and working in other areas of the clinic to support departments and staff as needed.
  • Preparing patients for healthcare visits by directing them to examining rooms or treatment areas.


Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Previous medical field experience or science-based education required.
  • Proficiency in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Recognition of physical exam processes and ability to record exam details.
  • Organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
  • Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work well whether alone or as part of a team.
